Public Comment on Draft Recommendation Statement and Draft Evidence Reviews: Screening for Illicit Drug Use, Including Nonmedical Use of Prescription Drugs

August 13, 2019 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and two draft evidence reviews on screening for illicit drug use, including nonmedical use of prescription drugs. The Task Force found that clinicians should screen all adults for illicit drug use. More research is needed to make a recommendation for teens. The draft recommendation statement and draft evidence reviews are available for review and public comment from August 13, 2019 to September 9, 2019 here
