Public Comment on Draft Recommendation Statement and Draft Evidence Review: Screening for Asymptomatic Bacteriuria in Adults

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on screening for asymptomatic bacteriuria in adults. Pregnant persons should be screened for bacteria that can lead to harmful urinary tract and kidney infections; nonpregnant adults should not be screened. The draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review are available for review and public comment from April 23, 2019 to May 20, 2019 here.
