Final Recommendation Statement: Preexposure Prophylaxis for the Prevention of HIV Infection

June 11, 2019 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force released today a final recommendation statement on preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for the prevention of HIV infection. The Task Force found that clinicians should offer PrEP to persons at high risk for HIV. To view the recommendation and the evidence on which it is based, please go here.
