Draft Recommendation Statement and Draft Evidence Review: Behavioral Weight Loss Interventions to Prevent Obesity-Related Morbidity and Mortality in Adults

February 20, 2018 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on behavioral weight loss interventions to prevent obesity-related morbidity and mortality in adults. The Task Force found that clinicians should refer patients who have obesity to multicomponent, intensive behavioral interventions. The draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review are available for review and public comment from February 20, 2018 to March 19, 2018 here.
