Final Recommendation Statement: Screening for Syphilis During Pregnancy

May 13, 2025 – The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force released today a final recommendation statement on screening for syphilis infection during pregnancy. The Task Force recommends that everyone who is pregnant be screened for syphilis as early as possible.
