Public Comment on Draft Evidence Report and Draft Recommendation: Screening for Peripheral Artery Disease and Cardiovascular Disease Risk Assessment With Ankle Brachial Index in Adults
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force posted today for public comment its draft evidence report and draft recommendation on screening for peripheral artery disease and cardiovascular disease risk assessment with ankle brachial index in adults. This is the first time the Task Force has made an evidence report available for public comment. Posting both the draft evidence report and the draft recommendation simultaneously is part of a new pilot process aimed at expanding the Task Force's current efforts to increase transparency and efficiency.
Both the draft evidence report and draft recommendation are available for review and public comment from March 19 through April 15, 2013.
