Resources for the Education of Health Professionals

  • Healthy People 2020
Healthy People provides science-based, 10-year national objectives for improving the health of all Americans. For 3 decades, Healthy People has established benchmarks and monitored progress over time in order to: 1. Encourage collaborations across communities and sectors. 2. Empower individuals toward making informed health decisions. 3. Measure the impact of prevention activities.
  • Implementing USPSTF Recommendations into Health Professions Education - Technical Assistance Document
This document was developed as part of an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) initiative to increase the use of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations and resources in campus and community-based health professions educational programs. It is a resource that organizations that are affiliated with academic institutions, such as Area Health Education Centers (AHECs), can share with community faculty and other educators to promote preventive services training and practice.
