Figure 1 depicts the reported prostate cancer mortality risk ratios for the countries participating in the ERSPC and PLCO trials. It also shows the total participants and absolute number of prostate cancer deaths for each country’s intervention and control groups. The European countries are ordered by descending median length of follow-up. Prostate cancer mortality results by individual country participating in the ERSPC trial became available in 2012.
